  • Register your GM Data SIM card here: www.gmdatasims.co.uk/register-sims
  • Charge your camera fully (4-6hrs). Use the supplied USB type C cable plugged into a 3 pin charger (5V 2amp) and plug into the mains.

If you camera has gone offline, it will be one of the following reasons:

  • No Credit or Data on SIM
    • Check your account and SIM status with your SIM provider
    • If GM Data SIMs, login here: Login to GM Data SIMs Here
      • Check balance. If data has been used, scroll down to the plans and select the next highest plan (you will be charged the difference of your current plan and the next plan up). Your camera should soon come back online. Occasionally you will need to turn your camera off and on again to regain connectivity.
      •
  • No 4G or WIFI Signal (depending on camera model)
    • A 4G Signal may have deteriorated or not be available in the camera's location.
    • If your camera is 4G, in the cargo area of a van with the doors closed and the 4G signal outside is weak, the camera may be stuggling to get online. Please check in a different location and/or turning the camera OFF and ON again (if using a GM Data SIM it should then select the strongest network). If you are still having issues, we can help with the network selection - just get in touch via our Contact Us page.
  • No Power
    • Your camera may require charging. Please check your camera for power and charge if required using 5V 2Amp 3-pin power charger. We recommend charging to full (4-8hrs).
